I loved the concept of this dispenser, but it leaked throughout the party the first time I used it. It was very embarrassing! We emptied it and tried to tighten the spigot, but it continued to drip.
We finally tightened the crown nut gently using pliers even though the directions said to hand-tighten it. It seems to be working now, but the spigot is plastic and the quality is questionable. I think it will work for our next party, but I don't like not being confident in its performance when we have company over.
The idea of this dispenser was perfect for the party and the ice core worked great! It kept the sweet tea cold throughout the party without watering it down. It was easy to clean, easy to use and easy to put together.

This thing was great. We did not have any leaking problems, or spigot handle breakage problems like some reviewers - the dispenser worked great for our party. It made wonderful, flavorful, citrus-infused ice tea. Everyone raved about it.
The next day, we went to clean it and were shocked to discover that the inside acrylic surface of the infuser was pitted, from, I assume, the orange slices we used - possibly from the citric acid? The outer surface of the ice holder was pitted as well, and also the inside, top surface of the main drink container.
An excellent idea, but ONE use? One? Are you kidding me?

I ordered this over the summer and I am so glad I did! We entertain a lot and enjoy throwing parties. I like to do a big alcoholic punch for gatherings instead of mixing drinks all night. This works perfectly and holds so much! I have used it with and without the inserts. The ONLY thing I ever had issue with was the center floating out of the the liquid. Simply due to it being lighter than the weight of the fluid. I had placed reusable ice cubes in the center section...it kept floating up and out so I simply dumped the reusable ice cubes in with the liquid. If you do not fill the dispenser this will not happen ... or if the items you have in the center weight more. I do not find the center to be something that I will use a lot. I have made sangria, rum punch, a dead and dirty grasshopper (Halloween), peach tea, fruit punch blends and not once have I had any leak. I do make sure the spout is tight at each washing. This jar is a lot bigger than I was expecting but good for my purposes. The problem is with the cheap metal coated plastic spigot. The cheap metal coating reacted with the acidic drink I had in my jar and was eaten off. As the coating came off it left a horrible metallic taste to my drink, which really became undrinkable. Since the company makes their spigot so much smaller than the common replacement size I found that I couldn't order another spigot the same size. I contacted the company to see if they had a better spigot, they said they would check and call back, but I guess they never really found the time... After much work I was able to enlarge the hole and replace with a better quality spigot that won't react with my drink. I suppose if you only had water or a sugary drink it might be okay with the original spigot.

When I took the Jar out of the box and was looking at it, I happened to bump it against my leg, not even enough to hurt, but the jar exploded. $26 down the drain. I bought 2 of these jars, the other one seems ok.

The packaging was not suitable to ship this fragile glass. Tried twice to return, but both times the shipment was broken. Amazon took returns without a problem, but probably should not bother shipping this item until they resolve packaging issues.

Excellent quality, Made in the USA with high grade material free of bta, Solid and simply beautiful. Not soft or flimsy material, holds a large amount, decorative and appealing. Gorgeous to look at, functions excellent. Loved and admired by all. The pictures and reviews do not do justice tho this lovely product. I read the negative report on this product and was hesitant, but decided to purchase anywhey. The negative report in my opinion was nonsense.
Paid a good bit to clear it at customs in the caribbean, Trinidad West Indies (my country) because of its size, but its function and purpose was well worth it.
I am not disappointed at all. Will recommend it to anyone. I guarantee you, it will not disappoint you :-)

This dispenser is perfect...First, it looks like glass. In fact, someone even made a point how dangerous it was for me to be serving pineapple jalapeno margaritas in a pretty glass container as though it would crash to the floor. However, unlike some of the glass dispensers I've used, this one doesn't leak. YEA!
It holds far more than most as well and has a nice stand that it attaches to to make it the perfect height off the counter.
But my favorite part is that the drinks stayed chilled for hours because this has a removable ice chute that goes down the center of the dispenser. If you don't feel like using it, just remove it and put the lid back on without it but we actually used this without having to haul in an icebag for the margaritas because the drinks came out of the dispenser chilled. And that is fabulous!
If you are doing a fairly clear drink you can even make it more decorative. For example, if you are serving lemonade, put slices of lemons... Read more

The item arrived scratched all over, I was definitely not happy with it. Although the actual product is great: it looks really good, it's sturdy, holds quite a bit of liquid and does not leak-- however it's scratched in multiple places. There are scratches all over and they're noticable! If I didn't need to use it in the next couple of days I would've sent it back to exchange it for one that wasn't damaged. Amazon let me down on this one!
