The large screw top makes the container easy to fill from the spring. The molded handle is a welcome addition because the container gets heavy when full (about 24 pounds). The container fits fine in our refrigerator/ freezer - a GE side by side model. So far the valve / spigot has worked ok. Its a very basic plastic valve that hopefully will hold up over time.
